My heart is really not in this but I need to let you know that Mike had to abort the run at the first mile marker yesterday. We had pushed him off and were following. We were somewhat nervous about the run because they had moved the course to provide fresh salt and it was just an unknown. We had seen several cars either abort or have slow runs ahead of us so we were not so certain that the new course location was an improvement.
Mike heard a snap and pop followed by other noise that let him know the car was broken. The break is in the rear end. He immediately aborted the run and veered off of the course. We were one sad bunch of folks. Everything was going so well and we had thought we might get the elusive 300 mph run or at least 250 mph and the class AA license. The stars did not line up for us for this year so we will come back and continue after making improvements.
We will be heading home starting tomorrow. Half of the crew is actually leaving as I write this and the other half will leave in the morning. I will write a more inclusive post soon.

So sorry a mechanical put you on the trailer. Having been there myself I would just like to challenge all of you to enjoy the trip home and focus on the successes. Stuff breaks. Get the best stuff you can and the car will break somewhere else.Ever notice that a lot of the fun is had while looking at broken stuff? Thanks for letting me tag along this week. Have a safe trip home!
